At Anaheim Community Hospital, we are always striving to expand our range of innovative treatment options to better serve our patients and community. We’re excited to announce that Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy will soon be available at our hospital.
What Is TMS?
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an FDA-approved, non-invasive treatment that uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain linked to mood regulation. It is primarily used for individuals experiencing depression who have not found relief from traditional treatments such as medication or talk therapy.
TMS is:
- Non-invasive: No anesthesia or surgery required
- Well-tolerated: Minimal side effects compared to medications
- Convenient: Performed on an outpatient basis, with patients returning to normal activities immediately after each session
Why Choose TMS at Anaheim Community Hospital?
Our goal is to make advanced, evidence-based therapies accessible within a compassionate hospital setting. When launched, our TMS program will provide personalized treatment plans guided by licensed professionals who specialize in mood disorders and neurostimulation therapies.
