We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our Holiday Food Drive! Over the last month, our team came together with a shared goal: to support families in our area and help put meals on tables just in time for the holidays.
3 Boxes of Hope: Delivering Essentials
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff, we were able to donate three large boxes packed with non-perishable essentials. Our employees filled the collection bin in the Employee Break Room with a variety of requested items, ensuring a well-rounded donation for families in need.
Donations included:
- Proteins & Legumes: Nutrient-rich items such as canned tuna, beans, peanut butter, and nuts.
- Grains & Pasta: Comforting staples including pasta, mac n cheese, and breakfast grains like oatmeal and cereal.
- Canned Goods: Vital pantry items like canned vegetables, tomatoes, soups, and stews.
- Other Essentials: Kitchen necessities including shelf-stable milk, pasta sauce, and spices.
Partnering with The Dwelling Place
This drive would not have been possible without our partners at the Dwelling Place Food Pantry.
We are deeply grateful for the work the Dwelling Place does every day to provide a food pantry for our community. Their dedication to fighting hunger in Anaheim allows organizations like ours to channel our resources effectively. We were honored to deliver these donations this week, ensuring they reach local kitchens before the holiday celebrations begin.
